    PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Diamond-Grip® is a one-piece metal plank grating manufactured by a cold forming process in the shape of a channel. The web of the channel is the walking surface and has rough serrated edges around diamond shaped openings.Diamond openings are complete with radiused corners at the saddle and side channel locations.

    FEATURES & BENEFITS
    • Serrated edges around diamond shaped openings provide slip resistance under slippery conditions such as snow, ice, grease, oil, etc.
    • Radiused corners reduce the possibility of stress cracks across saddles or at the side channels under various loading conditions.
    • Self-cleaning due to resilience of walking surface.
    • One-piece metal construction.
    • Lightweight design provides high strength to weight ratio.
    • Long life span requiring little maintenance.
    • Simple and economical installation as planks are self-framing.
    • Adaptable to cost effective custom fabrication.
    • Can be easily formed in standard channel or custom shapes.

    How is Round Perforated Made?
Round perforated is a sheet or coil of material made from metal that contains holes punched by a die. The shape of the hole is determined by the shape of the die. For perforated with a round hole pattern, the die is circular. The die's diameter can vary from approximately twice the thickness of the material being punched to over two inches.

    What is Woven Wire Mesh?
Woven wire mesh is cloth made from wire strands. The wires that make up wire mesh run parallel to the width of the roll (cross wires) and parallel to the length (line wires). The cross and line wires are interwoven. That is, the wires cross over and under each other. Wire Mesh can be woven in a number of different styles depending on the material type, wire diameter, and opening size (see weave styles). Woven wire mesh is available in rolls, sheets or panels, and cut-to-size.

  • Expanded - Metal
Expanded metal terminology is roughly based on two characteristics of the finished product; the SWD dimension of the pattern and the gauge of the parent metal.
    What does 3/4 - 9 mean?
Expanded metal terminology is roughly based on two characteristics of the finished product; the SWD dimension of the pattern and the gauge of the parent metal.

    For example:
    1/2 - 16 means .500" SWD and 16 gauge parent metal.

There are some designations, however, that do not follow the same pattern. In the case of 3/4 - 9, the original specification of .750" SWD and 9 gauge parent metal has evolved into something slightly different. In this case the SWD dimension is .923" and the parent metal is ten gauge
